Carmen A Hip Hopera is one of those films that I think was better in theory then in practice. I think its witty, sharp and for a film thats about an hour- hour in a half it conveys the classic story of Carmen pretty well. Its well paced, has some interesting angles thrown in there for good measure. And its also an interesting idea to remix the tunes from the original opera and give them a hip hop tune. Also the film should be recognised for loads of the roles/cameos played by well respected African American figures in the music and acting world. Watch Movies online at iwatchmoviesonline.eu.
