24 Hour Party People shows how a Cambridge certified Granada TV representer, Tony Wilson, sets up a record factory with the help of his mates. He signs Joy Division as their first artist followed by James and Happy Mondays who all become the seminal artists of the time. The Mecca of the dance clubs, the Hacienda along with drugs, sex, more-than-life characters define the movie on the different note. The movie graphically depicts the music and music heritage of the Manchester.
